COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES

COVID-19 What we’re doing to keep our teams, customers & stores safe

Delivering great-tasting, nutritious food in a safe environment is our top priority at Crussh. The way in which we work and serve our customers has changed and we have put a number of measures in place to ensure our stores are safe, welcoming environments for our teams & customers to be in.

We have closely followed Government advice and will continue to do so as the situation evolves. We have worked with Food Alert, the trusted, independent Food Safety and Health & Safety Consultancy, on detailed Risk Assessments for both our central kitchen & individual stores on areas such as PPE, Social Distancing, Cleaning and Customer Safety. Copies of all Risk Assessments can be viewed in store or requested via our email address: feedback@crussh.com

Here is a summary of the actions we’ve taken. As this is an ever-evolving situation, this will be updated as things change.

 

Eating, drinking & ordering with us:

    • Our stores are open for takeaway & delivery only, while we review safe eat-in dining
    • Contact-free ordering is in place via the Ritual app & Deliveroo
    • Payments can only be made via card
    • We have temporarily removed our reusable cup discount policy (however the discount remains if you show us your cup)

Social distancing:

    • Social distancing measures & guidelines are in place in our stores & central kitchen
    • We have introduced clear, directional signage & floor markers to help customers navigate safe around the store
    • Each store space has been reviewed carefully & each one has a maximum capacity of customers allowed in the store at any one time
    • We have introduced Perspex screens at our till points & throughout stores where required

Enhanced cleaning:

    • Hand sanitiser is in place in our stores & available for customers to use on entry & exit to the store
    • Enhanced cleaning procedures have been put in place. Teams are required to wash their hands every 30 minutes, apply hand sanitiser & adhere to strict cleaning rotas

Store teams & PPE:

    • We have reduced the number of team members on shifts, start & finish times have been staggered, and markings on the floors have been introduced to help maintain social distancing
    • We have introduced a PPE kit for store teams
    • Face masks are available for all team members to wear should they choose to but are not currently mandatory. If guidance on wearing face masks change, we will review our procedures accordingly

Team wellbeing:

    • The health & wellbeing of our team is a top priority. Team members are being checked before every shift, both physically & mentally; this includes temperature checks of all team members before they start working
