Top 5: Lent
Survival tips for lent? You’ve come to the right place!
Here our Top 5:
1) If you’re giving up chocolate…Try raw cacao!
Cacao originates from the cacao bean, the same bean that forms the basis of your beloved chocolate. However, raw cacao is unprocessed, full of antioxidants and contains natural sugars, so it’s a great way to get a natural chocolatey fix. Add a little to your porridge, have a hot choc, or snack on an energy ball with a cacao base.

2) If you’re giving up Alcohol…Try kombucha!
Alright, we admit this one isn’t easy…but the Crussh team love a challenge, so we’re also looking for alternatives left right and centre! Kombucha is a sparkling fermented green tea, which is often compared to cider or champagne due to its sparkly, fruity nature. It’s also a probiotic which means its great for digestion and gut health!
3) If you’re giving up meat…Try another source of protein!
Dropping meat from your diet isn’t easy, especially if you’re a gym junky or a sucker for a juicy steak. Our advice? Enjoy eggs in a different way everyday, add fish, tofu or lots of beans to your salad or try plant based protein shakes before/after gym! 4) If you’re giving up fast food…Try fit food!
Traditional ‘Fast food’ can be easy, cheap & convenient, but we all know it should only really be eaten once in a while!
At Crussh, our food is ‘fast food’, but we call it ‘Fit Food’ - healthy, nutritious and great for on the go! Our Fit Food is hot, cold, large, small, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free…Explore our menu here
5) If you’re giving up social media…Get your buttocks outdoors!
These days, we’re often glued to our screens watching cat videos, so sometimes we forget to look up and check out what’s going on around us. London is full of beautiful parks, cycling tracks and markets - so head on out…just resist the need to take that perfect snap!
Good luck, and don’t forget to share your tips with us
